Airship Syndicate, the developer behind Battle Chasers: Nightwar and Darksiders Genesis are working on a brand new project set in the League of Legends universe. Named, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, this new project is a single-player turn-based RPG, scheduled for release in early 2021 on PC, current-gen and next-gen consoles.
"Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, a single-player turn-based RPG featuring the baddest of Bilgewater. Play as Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri, or Pyke and journey bravely into the ever-creeping Black Mist," it's written in the statement.
To celebrate the official reveal, the publisher Riot Forge released a trailer which gives us a first look at the characters, antagonist and more. Check it out below:
The publisher promise immersive experience and freedom to configure your party and control League of Legend champions, explore the city of Bilgewater and the mysterious Shadow Isles and get to try the Lane Initiative System.
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story will be the first game release from Riot Games' new publishing label, which they started last year with a goal to partner up with other devs to bring more games from League of Legends universe.
At the moment, the details about the game are pretty scarce but since the release is coming in early 2021 you can expect to hear but also see more about the game in the upcoming months.
