The anticipation for the first new GTA game in a decade has obviously skyrocketed over the last couple of weeks thanks to Rockstar Games' official confirmation that the Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal is just around the corner.
Fans of the series are now getting excited by pretty much everything that Rockstar do, even if that's just a small redesign of the official website. Simply put, it's reminding them that something is finally happening and that everything Rockstar are doing from now until early December 2023 is related to the big reveal of GTA 6.
Interestingly, the update has seemingly removed the mention of Social Club which suggests that the publisher are preparing a new store, called Rockstar Games Platform.
Rockstar are yet to officially announce this massive change so we really can't tell why exactly are the publisher decided to sunset the app. If we had to guess, we would say that Rockstar are probably releasing a new store that would support cross-play and cross-save features for new GTA Online across all platforms.
Anyway, given that December is less than two weeks away, it's understandable that Rockstar are probably preparing their website for the big reveal. It's possible that they already have the website updated in the background with all the new assets that will go live along with the trailer.
Fans will certainly notice even the slightest of changes so expect a lot of similar news and updates over the next couple of days and weeks as we get closer to the reveal of GTA 6.
