Rockstar has started emailing fans about GTA 6 pre-orders, signalling that the game's marketing campaign is entering its biggest phase ahead of June 25

Rockstar Games has officially begun its marketing push for GTA 6. Pre-orders will officially open on June 25, but today the publisher began emailing fans and has been quietly updating areas of the official GTA 6 site.

These changes might not seem like much, but they’re further signals that Rockstar is dead set on releasing the game November 19, 20 26. The emails are being sent out to subscribers of Rockstar’s newsletter, as well as anyone who added GTA 6 to their wishlist on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.

The message is simple, reminding fans that pre-orders will be live tomorrow and that they should get ready to preorder ASAP. Rockstar has also updated the visuals around its release date on its website. Sure, a new gradient or a single piece of updated art isn’t a huge deal.

However, these little changes typically occur when a company is getting ready to begin larger marketing initiatives. It seems like Rockstar is shifting out of announcement phase and into full swing with its promotional efforts. We already know a ton about GTA 6.

The game is launching November 19, 2026 exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players will take control of both Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos as they adventure throughout Leonida, Rockstar’s rendition of Florida that boasts a fully revamped Vice City.

Rockstar also dropped the games official cover art recently, providing us with another tease at what this bright and sunny world has in store for us later this year. What we haven’t heard yet are some bigger details.

Rockstar hasn’t addressed pricing, what editions will be available, or if there will even be a collectors edition. We’re now expecting these details to coincide with pre-orders, if not be revealed directly before they go live.
