Rockstar Games is now fully underway with its GTA 6 promotional push. We first saw the official cover art for the game, and learned pre-orders will launch on June 25.
Now fans are getting another stunning glimpse of Vice City itself. The video that’s now making the rounds offers yet another angle on the recognizable city and solidifies one belief: GTA 6 may have Rockstar’s most detailed open world to date.
GTA 6 Vice City remake has evolved into an actual rendition of Miami complete with skyscrapers, neon signs, expansive beaches, congested streets, high-end condos, and phenomenal draw distance that makes the city itself feel massive.
However, what’s most impressive is just how dense everything looks. There are boats in the water, cars on the streets, and buildings for miles. Rockstar is doing an incredible job of building a city that feels lived-in 24/7, rather than individual neighborhoods pieced together.
Perhaps most exciting is just how Vice City feels like it has its own personality. From the rainbow-hued Art Deco buildings to palm tree lined streets, vibrant nightlife, and beach town atmosphere, it really feels like South Florida with a heaping helping of that signature Grand Theft Auto satire on top.
Honestly, this new video dropping right around the time Rockstar confirmed GTA 6 preorders start June 25 is pretty fascinating. You can wishlist the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S right now in anticipation of its November 19 launch, but we still haven’t received any details on pricing or whether there will even be any special editions.
Rockstar did announce the cover art of the game alongside the preorder news. Showcasing the leads Jason and Lucia, the artwork continues to lean into Leonida’s bright, sunny vibes while highlighting the Bonnie and Clyde relationship at the heart of their story.
