A ton of new details about Resident Evil 8 have leaked online, revealing info about the game's main villain, a man called Alan R., a mysterious count living in a castle. On top of this, leak reveals new details about the locations and story.

Resident Evil 8 has been subject of many leaks and rumours in the last couple of months. Thanks to reliable insiders such as Dusk Golem we know that Capcom's next major horror title is first-person and set in a snowy European Village. On top of this, the insider claims that the game is set to be the biggest departure in the history of series.

Today, we have a new report about the game, coming from biohazardcast , who have shared fresh details about Resident Evil 8 villain, locations, playable characters and more.

According to the report, the main villain in Resident Evil 8 will be a man named Alan R., who is a mysterious count living in a castle on top of the hill, just above the village. He is the leader or at least a high ranking member of the secret group named The Connections. The second villain is Natalia/Alex Wesker and there are also files suggesting that Blue Umbrella are not as clean as they portray themselves to be.

As for the locations, the game will emphasize outdoor locations such as caves, forests and other areas. On top of this, you will also get to visit the castle and explore the village.

One of the most important aspects of the game will be the flashlight. The report claims that the game is often pretty dark which forces players to use the flashing, which can run out of batteries but slowly recharges over time.

Last but not least, there is an important story part which includes Mia and Ethan so look away if you don't want any spoilers.

Mia and Ethan will have a child which is deformed and not a normal human due to their infections in Resident Evil 7.

Mia and Ethan are spending their life in a remote place, trying to hide the child but Chris Redfield breaks into Ethan's house, killing the child and shooting Mia. This could suggest that Chris has gone rogue.

Ethan wakes up, Chris is gone but did not leave Mia to die, instead he bandaged her. Ethan sees shadowy figures in the room, gets abducted and wakes up in the village, where the game takes place.

As always, these details are not confirmed by Capcom so you should take everything with a grain of salt.
