Rainbow Six Siege underwent maintenance across all platforms on March 15th, resulting in a 30-minute downtime. The update introduced numerous fixes and adjustments aimed at improving the game's performance.

Last month, Rainbow 6 Siege introduced Year 9 Season 1, Operation Deadly Omen, bringing a slew of changes, including a new operator and additions like maps, weapons, and attachments.

However, players encountered significant internal bugs and glitches with the update, urging Ubisoft to take immediate action. 

So in a recent social media post on X, Ubisoft announced maintenance across all platforms, resulting in a 30-minute server downtime. During this time, Ubisoft implemented various fixes and adjustments to the gameplay according to the players' concerns.

Here are all the gameplay fixes made to Rainbow Six Siege in March 2024:

  • Shield and handgun aiming down sights speed fixed.
  • Reduced damage for Bailiff 410 with laser sight.
  • Added ACOG attachment for AK-74M.
  • Corrected offset of ACOG B and ACOG C attachments on UZK50GI.
  • Fixed the missing loading bar for Brava's Kludge Drone conversion.
  • Resolved the issue of players getting stuck in loading after the pick phase.
  • Shielded operators are now protected during simultaneous melee attacks.
  • Adjusted AI bot behaviour for defusing planted diffusers on the Consulate map.
