Karma the Enlightened One

League of Legends Patch 14.6 brings massive changes to champions that are overperforming and underperforming. While most of them are receiving minor changes, Galio and Karma are receiving the most. This patch is set to go live on March 20, 2024.

League of Legends Patch 14.6 promises to be an interesting new patch, with a forthcoming in-game event, another mythic variation skin that no one asked for, and more than enough item adjustments to keep everyone happy or make them rage quit.

This patch is set to be released on March 20, 2024, and Riot Games aims to make some crucial changes to this patch.

Galio will be receiving the most changes in this patch. Other than him, Smoulder, Karma, and Senna have been among the most irritating picks in both solo queue and pro play, which is why Riot is going to nerf them, along with several other champions.

Buffed Champions on Patch 14.6 of League of Legends:

Cho'Gath

Instead of benefiting from Sunfire and Heartsteel improvements, Cho'Gath remained weak. So Cho'Gath will be receiving a small buff.

Ornn

Making Ornn items is significantly more complex than making Riot items. It has reached the point that the game cannot continue to make Ornn items in the same manner. That is why Riot plans on creating a new way to create Ornn artefacts. While Riot works on this, they are giving Ornn a small boost.

Shen

Shen, too, will receive a slight buff, similar to Cho, but no details are available at this time.

Sion

Sion is the latest LoL champion to receive a buff. So far, we don't know what this will imply for him, but we hope that these modifications help him with his poor victory percentage, which is currently at 47%.

Tryndamere from Frejlord

Tryndamere

Patch 14.6 will include a buff for Tryndamere. Similarly to Sion, Trynda has a low win rate, and this could offer him a much-needed lift.

Nerfed Champions on Patch 14.6 of League of Legends:

Briar

Briar is set to be nerfed, although no details have been revealed as of yet.

Gragas

Gragas will face some nerfs due to his dominance in the top lane. Perhaps this will encourage LoL players to consider him a jungler.

Karma

  • Mana growth reduced from 50 to 40.
  • Mana regeneration growth increased from 0.5 to 0.8.
  • Passive’s ultimate cooldown refund changed from 5 seconds flat to 25% remaining cooldown.
  • Q mana cost changed from 45 flat to 40-80.
  • The R cooldown increased from 40–31 to 40–34 seconds.
  • RE bonus base shield changed from 25-175 to 50-170.

Smolder

Smoulder is undoubtedly in a frustrating situation right now, but Riot believes that this is primarily due to his power level. His abilities are causing balancing problems for this otherwise balanced champion. So we should be prepared to see major changes to Smoulder.

Senna

Senna has topped the ADC tier charts for several patches recently. This nerf will target her as an ADC, potentially shifting the focus back to her support position.

Volibear

Volibear was killing it in the latest patch, which was a welcome surprise. The future nerfs will make him more balanced.

Besides these champion changes, Riot is also focusing on item changes in this patch. Because of the early power that component items provide, ADCs have chosen to purchase lethality rather than continue to build ordinary critical items. So we can expect to see a massive change in the bottom-lane meta in this patch.
