Code Vein 2 is getting its first major DLC expansion later this year. Bandai Namco Studios announced that Mask of Idris will release on September 9, 2026. Players can explore the DLC on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The expansion takes players to a new area known as the Forgotten World.
The Mask of Idris DLC grants access to a new location for players to explore. The Forgotten World will serve as a backdrop for the majority of the expansion’s story.
Players will also be able to use time to their advantage as they play through Mask of Idris. It appears that this DLC will offer both new gameplay mechanics and a story for players to follow. Bandai Namco also promised there will be more to this DLC than what has been mentioned.
Accessing Mask of Idris
Players will not be able to start Mask of Idris right away. There are a couple things players will have to do before they can access the DLC. These include:
- Complete Code Vein 2’s main story
- Complete the Valentin’s Request side quest
After players complete these two steps, they will be able to experience Mask of Idris. Code Vein 2: Mask of Idris releases on September 9, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Mask of Idris gives players a new locale to explore, some interesting gameplay mechanics, and more goodies than we know about.
