Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.71 is out now on PS5, adding four new cars, three World Circuits and a new Whistler Scapes location.

Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.71 is available now on PS5. Four cars have been added with Version 1.71, allowing players to get their hands on some Japanese classic performance, light-weight driving fun and next generation electric speed.

The update also includes three new World Circuits as well as Whistler as a featured Curation Location in Scapes. Here’s everything you need to know about the Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.71 cars.

Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.71 New Cars

  • 1997 Toyota Chaser Tourer V
  • 1997 Toyota Mark II Tourer V
  • 2008 Caterham Seven Superlight R500
  • 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6 N

Each car is distinctly different from the last. The quartet feature one tuner icon, one sleeper, one lightweight handler and one next generation electric speed machine.

1997 Toyota Chaser Tourer V

First up is the Toyota Chaser Tourer V. This car is Street Icon this month. As such, it is instantly recognisable and has prominent ties to Japanese tuning culture and drifting scene.

Players can buy the car from Used Cars, take it to Tokyo Expressway, then add some custom touches via GT Auto and the Tuning Shop. From there, you can create some great replays to show off your style or snap some pictures in Scapes.

1997 Toyota Mark II Tourer V

Next up is the Sleeper Pick for the month. The Mark II Tourer V might not look as outrageous as the Toyota Chaser above but you can still make it your own with some custom tuning parts.

Purchase the Mark II Tourer V from Used Cars and head down to Tokyo Expressway to test out your work.

2008 Caterham Seven Superlight R500

The Caterham Seven Superlight R500 is this month’s Pure Driver. This lightweight machine is great for handling-focused cars and tracks.

Thanks to its incredibly light chassis and direct steering response, every input you make is felt by the car. Buy the Superlight R500 from Brand Central and take it to something like Deep Forest Raceway. Then you can work on your braking points, cornering speeds and racing lines via Time Trial.

2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6 N

Finally, we have the Next Gen Performance car. The all-new Hyundai IONIQ 6 N is a modern performance EV with a different driving feel thanks to its electric powertrain.

It might not inspire emotions in the same way that a powerful GT3 car does, but electric vehicles represent the future of performance motoring. Pick up the IONIQ 6 N from Brand Central.

Three New World Circuits and Whistler Scapes

Of course, Update 1.71 doesn’t just offer new cars. There are three completely new World Circuits for players to discover and drive on. Plus, Gran Turismo 7’s Scapes mode gained a new location in Whistler.

If you’re looking for something new to drive or photograph in Gran Turismo 7, Update 1.71 has you covered.
