Nintendo's latest Switch exclusive Paper Mario: The Origami King is already playable on PC via Ryujinx Emulator even though the release date is still a couple of days away.

Paper Mario: The Origami King is finally releasing later this week exclusively for Nintendo Switch. However, some players have already started their adventure thanks to Ryujinx Emulator, which is a Nintendo Switch emulator on PC.

As you can see from the gameplay footage below, the game is indeed running without any issues in solid 30 FPS, which is probably the locked frame-rate on the portable console. And while some players are enjoying the title, others have reported several issues such as crashing and freezing, which is usual for early versions of games on emulators.

Of course, these problems are probably exclusive to PC and we do not expect to see similar issues on Nintendo Switch.

Paper Mario: The Origami King is not the first Switch game that can be played on PC via the emulator. As you may know, one of the best Switch games of all time - Zelda: Breath of the Wild is also available with ReShade support for even prettier graphics.

Some Switch games are also available on CEMU emulator too but we suggest you purchase your games on Switch digitally to show support to hard-working devs if you want to play the games on PC.

Paper Mario: The Origami King is officially releasing on July 17, 2020.
