Mark your calendars, Metroidvania enthusiasts! Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, the long-anticipated sequel to Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights will be leaving Early Access and releasing officially on January 22nd.
Along with its release on PC, the game will hit PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. To celebrate, developer Binary Haze released a final trailer, giving fans a closer look at the story and atmospheric design behind the game.
Players embark on this new adventure, this time playing the role of Lilac, an Attuner in the Land of Fumes, a world that merges magic with technology. A world that once was thriving has now been consumed by fumes that have corrupted everything and made it unsafe to tread. This turns Lilac's ability to control Homunculi, artificial beings possessing special powers, into her means of passing through the hazardous lands.
As the role of Lilac, players are in the search for lost memories of the secrets of the fumes and mysteries of her relationship with the Homunculi in this game, promising 35 hours of gameplay when the complete version is ready, with a lot of exploration, intensive battles and hidden mysteries.
However, a word of warning: the progress made in Early Access will not be transferred to the complete game.
With its immersive narrative, intricate gameplay and stunning atmosphere, Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist comes highly regarded as one of those releases that any player of the genre must get their hands on.
Its full release is an exciting chapter in the series, and this new trailer stages a journey that's full of adventure, danger, and emotional deepness on the back of magic.
