Thanksgiving is fast approaching and New World is celebrating it once again with laser vision. Also turkeys.
New World has kicked off another mini-event following the launch of fresh start servers , Brimstone Sands and escapades with Halloween and Baalphazu. This time around, it's about Thanksgiving and the giant turkey is coming back once more.
Turkulon is here to stay until December 6, 2022, after which it will be but a few weeks until the big winter event which the players can hardly wait for.
In the meantime, you might be looking for information about the spawn location of Turkulon, the giant turkey that shoots lasers out of its eyes.
Knowing the spawn locations might be a good idea in order to narrow down the search when you see people asking for more to face the boss as it can pop up at more than one location per zone. Simply go to the interactive map , search for "Turkulon" and enable it to see the exact spawn spots.
Fighting the boss is not too hard, especially because it's in the open world and if a zerg happens, it will be no effort at all.
If you are fighting it with a small group, it is enough to know Turkulon's attacks:
- Slam - Close-range attack where the turkey squishes the hapless player
- Peck - Cone attack in front of Turkulon
- Laser eyes - Long-range attack that targets the furthest enemy but damages everyone in the lasers' path
As it turns out Turkulon was initially an office joke at AGS but it eventually made it into the event and got its own lore.
