League of Legends Patch 14.20 is bringing a plethora of champion nerfs in hopes of balancing the overperforming characters.
One champion that is sure to take a big hit is Dr. Mundo; his E, Blunt Force Trauma, will now have a bonus AD scaling of 3% when based on his maximum HP, down from 3.4%.
Riot is also cutting Jhin: his AD per level's down from 4.7 to 4.4, and his R - Curtain Call - is receiving lower base damages.
Mordekaiser's Q, Obliterate, is being toned down; the bonus damage when it comes to isolating enemies is being reduced.
Poppy's Q, Hammer Shock, is getting nerfed in terms of passive cooldown and monster damage, which will affect her both in the jungle and in lane. Along similar lines, Shyvana's AP scaling on her W and R abilities is getting a reduction that possibly lowers her burst in the case of certain builds.
Champions like Singed, Skarner, Udyr, and Veigar are all in line for nerfs, too; most changes will hit scaling and base stats. For example, Singed is having less armor growth per level, and Skarner's HP scaling on his passive has been decreased, which weakens his overall tankiness and sustain.
Next to champion nerfs, there are still a bunch of item adjustments in Patch 14.20. The AP junglers will be a little sad to find out that items like Fated Ashes and Liandry's Torment-both of whom received a reduction to monster damage amongst other things-get nerfed.
Items like Luden's Companion and Statikk Shiv are receiving damage output and attack speed changes to further balance out item builds.
These changes look to rein in these champions and items that have dominated the meta and make for a fair playground for all players.
