With every passing day, anticipation builds for Arcane Season 2, and recent leaks purportedly suggest that a Legendary Arcane Vi skin will be coming to League of Legends alongside the new season of the runaway Netflix hit, released in November 2021.
To commemorate the first season of Arcane, Riot Games ran some in-game events and missions that gave players free Arcane-themed skins. Among them were skins for Jayce, Vi, Jinx, and Caitlyn.
There was also a Firelight skin of Ekko related to the Arcane universe, but it was released somewhat later compared to the previous ones.
The announcement of Arcane Season 2 has already seen Riot Games tease more League of Legends content. Recently, a Hextech-themed patch for the game's mobile title Wild Rift introduced fans to Ambessa Medarda, an Arcane-themed champion who will also release in the PC version of the game.
Along with the new champions, more Arcane-themed skins are supposed to drop in League of Legends, among them the Legendary Arcane Vi skin.
Details regarding the skin's appearance are scarce, but various Arcane Season 2 trailers and teasers have shown Vi with a brand-new look, and since Vi still doesn't have a Legendary skin, this will be quite special and fit right in with the popular Arcane skin line.
Although there is no exact confirmation, rumors are that the Legendary Arcane Vi skin might drop on either patch 14.23 or 14.24, which are expected to roll out on November 20 and December 11, 2024, respectively.
