THQ Nordic finally announced the particulars of Jagged Alliance 3 and now you can see how much each edition will set you back.
THQ Nordic and Haemimont Games announced that the Jagged Alliance 3 release date is July 14, 2023.
The game will come in two different editions - standard and Tactical Edition and as you probably guessed already, they will be priced differently.
Standard edition, which the majority of future players will be interested in is priced at $45 / €45 / ~₤39.
Tactical Edition will cost $130 / €130 / ~₤113 and there is a limit of 750 copies that will be sold in this version. This equivalent of Collector's Edition comes with a waterproof outdoor case, a game disc that comes in a media book, a tactical belt, 36 character cards, an original soundtrack on disc, a belt pouch and an AIM pin.
The news comes along with a new trailer, which you can see below. It details the game's features such as the lack of chance to hit, meaning you will not run into situations where you miss a 95 per cent shot and then lose a soldier to a Sectoid. Not that you will run into Sectoids here either.
Mercenaries in the player's group will have several factors that affect their efficiency, such as lighting, the weather and even their rest or lack thereof.
While the aforementioned Tactical Edition features 36 character cards, there are actually 40 characters you can recruit to do your bidding. Each of them comes with unique personality traits and they will react to what happens in the game. If your mercs keep kicking the bucket, recruiting new ones will be harder or perhaps even impossible.
Finally, the game is open world which may be a bit odd for the series but let's see if it actually works.
