Following the demise of the last of the Elder Dragons in Guild Wars 2: End of the Dragons, we had to face a new threat that briefly showed itself through the battle atop the Harvest Temple.
Afterwards, we started delving deeper into the Jade Sea where we got to face some enemies of old that terrorised Cantha for hundreds of years before the current events.
On May 23, 2023, ArenaNet will extend that storyline with a new chapter, called What Lies Within.
Players will have to dig themselves out of the darkest depths of the Gyala Delve where they will team up with Jade Brotherhood once more.
The combined forces will be utilising some heavy explosives and fight the Ravenous Wanderer, which was revealed in the initial update that send us to the Delve.
Earlier reports claimed that the Wanderer is unkillable but we do control the characters that took down a bunch of Elder Dragons so it's hard to imagine an ancient Oni being much more of a threat.
Additionally, the players will get to acquire a few more rewards, like the futuristic-looking Special Ops armour set, a new mace, hammer, mini phoenix and more.
End of Dragons expansion will also be discounted by 20 per cent from May 22 to 28, 2023.
