A new high-budget action RPG set within the Avatar Legends universe has been officially announced for PC and consoles; development by Saber Interactive.
News broke earlier in the year that another game is coming set in the popular Avatar: The Last Airbender universe. It didn't get many fans all that excited though, seeing as how it was a multiplayer fighting game.
There's a second and more ambitious project revealed now, however, and this one will surely capture the interest of fans.
This new game will be set in the universe of both worlds of Avatar Legends: that is, from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Development will be led by Saber Interactive with the contribution of Paramount Game Studios and Avatar Studios.
From sources, the game is said to be an action RPG that promises a great combination of dynamic combat and immersive storytelling.
It will, however, feature an entirely different setting and exploration than the previous games in the series while set in the same Avatar universe, with an entirely new Avatar and a storyline never experienced before in the series.
Leaving aside the familiar elements of mastering all four elements-water, earth, fire, and air-this game promises new features and changes that will keep interest fresh.
Considering how the game is still in the nascent stages of development and has not even received an official title, it may be some time until gameplay footage or word about a release date emerges.
The potential of this project is already generating hype, though, and more information about said project is being highly sought after by fans of the franchise.
