Halloween has arrived to Guild Wars 2 once more, bringing with it a new variant of Mad King's Clock Tower jumping puzzle, the Stopped Clock Tower.
Achievements that have been available in the past are updated to reflect the new version of the clocktower and new achievements are out there for everyone to hunt.
On top of that, there are new objectives in the Wizard's Vault to support the Halloween activities, complete with additional Astral Acclaim for you to farm and obtain rewards with.
New headpieces have been added, which you can see below, although it remains to be seen just how desirable these bags will be. If they are not your style, you may want to go for Halloween Rituals achievement to get the Clawing Shadow Greaves while the last year's award for the same achievement can be obtained in exchange for Candy Corn at the event vendors.
Grim Machine weapon set will also be obtainable through the same achievement or the weekly Halloween Festivities achievement.
Trick or Treat bags can also yield the Sanctioned Executioner greatsword, Guided Executioner longbow and Heralded Executioner warhorn, just in case you were missing a few styles in your weapon wardrobe.
In order to get in on the festivities, you can use the invitation from your mail to visit the Mad King's Labyrinth or through Lion's Arch portal to get into Mad King's Realm. Those without access to Lion's Arch can find the same kind of portal in the starter areas such as Queensdale, Plains of Ashford, Caledon Forest, Metrica Province or Wayfarer's Foothills.
