Bungie revealed that the new Festival of the Lost in Destiny 2 will feature Eerie Engrams, which will have quite interesting rewards packed in them.
However, to obtain these engrams, players will have to run Legend Haunted Sectors which basically means you will have to go through a bunch of decorated Lost Sectors with enemies that have beefed up health bars repeatedly.
The kicker is that you are not guaranteed to get an Eerie Engram at the end of the activity - you only have a chance to obtain one.
Opening an Eerie Engram will yield treats but using them for Hocus Focusing can award new Legendary weapons or existing Exotic armour, depending on which way you focused it.
Focusing prices are as follows:
- Exotic Arms
- Eeerie Engram Cost
- 2500 Candy cost
- Exotic Legs
- Eerie Engram Cost
- 2500 Candy Cost
- Exotic Helmet
- Eerie Engram Cost
- 2500 Candy cost
- Exotic Chest
- Eerie Engram cost
- 2500 Candy cost
- Randomized FOTL Weapon
- Eerie Engram cost
- 500 Candy cost
- Specific FOTL Weapon
- Eerie Engram cost
- 1000 Candy cost
If some of the Exotic armour is tied to an expansion, you will not be able to obtain it if you don't have that expansion. For example, if you don't have Beyond Light, Necrotic Grip will not drop for your Warlock.
Additionally, if you haven't acquired a certain piece that you want, you can increase the chance by focusing the engrams to that body part as they can drop unobtained Exotics.
That said, good luck with the Lost Sectors and hopefully, you won't fall into depression after running them on repeat.
