It's clear by now that Epic has got huge plans for Season 4 and luckily, we just got a peek at Fortnite skins, gliders and other cosmetics from patch v4.0.0, thanks to some data mining efforts by good folks over at Fortniteintel.com.
As you can see, Fortnite's new Liteshow and Nitelite skins are club-themed skins with Uncommon rarity. Chromium and Diecast are Rare and remind us of a Marvel's Colossus-meets-Street Fighter's Guile sort of vibe.
Abstract gives a grafitti artist look while Trailblazer seems to be following Fortnite's standard theme. Both of them come in Epic rarity, just like the aviator fellow called Royale Bomber.
As we've come to expect from Fortnite's designers, they weren't short on imagination when they were designing pickaxes. The military grade one with four rockets is just hilarious, isn't it?
Fortnite will be getting three backpack looking cosmetic items or Back Blings, as Epic call them. They look decent enough, after all - you will spend a lot of time looking at your back.
To be fair, Gliders from Fortnite's v4.0.0 are mostly just paint jobs of the basic one, so nothing particularly exciting there. Nevertheless, we doubt Fortnite's Season 4 will be lacking in cosmetic content, quite the contrary.
Epic's Fortnite: Battle Royale has proudly and we must admit, the game has indeed become a phenomenon. The attention and hype surrounding Fortnite's Seasons remind us of the football craze at its finest. Whichever football you prefer, sheesh, don't be difficult.
Dusty Divot, the unfortunate outcome of comet's collision with Dusty Depot is a location that yearned for some designer love. No longer are there simplistic, boring boxes - Dusty Divot is an elaborate facility with space rocks around it. Yeah, consuming Hop Rocks lets you cheat gravity a bit.
Ironically enough, there was a time when taking on PUBG seemed like an impossible task, a fool's errand if you will but Epic Games have stayed true to their name. Fortnite's Season 4 has officially started and seeing this sort of hype makes us wonder - how long can Epic keep outdoing themselves?
