With the start of Fortnite's Season 6, Epic Games have encountered a few issues, most notably the shadow stones that allowed shooting while invisible, which has since been fixed. Unfortunately, they had to remove Port-a-Fortress for now.
It turned out that shadow stones weren't really working as intended, because more than a few poor unfortunate Fortnite souls encountered invisible people who could in fact shoot. Needless to say, this was definitely not how Season 6's gimmick was supposed to work.
Thankfully, the issue has since been fixed and the shadow stones are back with vengeance, although that doesn't seem to be the end of Epic's woes. The company's latest tweet said that they "have temporarily removed the Port-a-Fortress to address degraded performance".
We're not entirely sure what sort of performance Port-a-Fortresses degraded but it sure wasn't mine - my Fortnite performance is constantly degraded and I'm often told to git gud. Which isn't something Epic is likely to fix mind you.
The company also encountered some, ahem, jiggly physics problems earlier, as Fortnite's female character breasts behaved peculiarly to say the least, most notably during emotes that featured a lot of jumping. Epic said that the issue is quite embarrassing and disabled some of the physics, which in turn made some of the skins behave a bit strangely at closer inspection.
Thankfully, Epic seem to have fixed that part as well, tweeting that an "update containing fixes for item and animation issues" has rolled out and won't require any downtime. This update launched a few hours ago so Fortnite's Season 6 is obviously proving to be quite troublesome for the company. On the other hand, with the stellar popularity and immense playerbase that the game sports, it would be strange if it wasn't.

Another positive takeaway from all this is that each Fortnite update that rolls out ultimately improves , which in turn improves every gamer's day. Don't believe me? Google 'games based on Unreal Engine 4' and you'll see exactly what I mean.
