Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki confirms that both new game plus and multiple endings will be intact in Elden Ring.
In the most recent interview with the PlayStation Blog, Hidetaka Miyazaki talked about From Software's upcoming action-RPG Elden Ring, answering many burning questions regarding the game's difficultly, open-world and more.
Miyazaki was also asked about a new game plus feature and multiple endings, to which he confidently replied that both are part of the game. "Yes, both New Game Plus and multiple endings will be intact in Elden Ring," he replied.
So, how many endings will Elden Ring have? Well, judging by previous From Software games, we can expect at least four different endings. Both Dark Souls 3 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice had four endings while PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne had three.
Could Elden Ring break the four endings barrier? Sure, it's entirely possible that the game could end up having five or more endings but that's just speculation now until we get to play the game and see for ourselves.
Elden Ring will be launching on February 25, 2022, after two delays. The game is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
