EA FC 27 looks to be dropping another year full of football content, but completionists attempting to reach 100% may find themselves needing to buy its Premium Pass.
One of EA FC 27’s Achievements and Trophies is directly linked to purchasing a Premium Pass, potentially forcing completionists to spend more money or thousands of Coins.
It’s due to a Trophy that was listed as part of the game’s newly released Trophy and Achievement list before launch. While the Premium Pass will remain optional for most players, it now becomes far more interesting for completionists looking to unlock every Trophy/Achievement possible in EA FC 27. It will also make EA FC 27’s more expensive bundles much more enticing for completionists.
The Trophy requiring completion is named “All Aboard the Premium Track,” which tasks players with completing every stage of a Premium Pass.
While the Standard Edition won’t come with a Premium Pass, players can get passes as part of EA’s game bundles:
- Standard Edition – No Premium Pass
- Ultimate Edition – 1 Premium Pass
- Ultimate Plus Edition – 5 Premium Passes
Players who opt for the Standard Edition (or eventually run out of passes) will need to purchase the Passes separately.
This becomes especially egregious for players who miss the opportunity to complete a pass. Last year’s FIFA 26 Premium Pass sold for 1,000 FIFA Points or 500,000 Ultimate Team Coins. If EA prices the FIFA 27 Passes similarly, players will have to grind for hours in Ultimate Team just to earn enough Coins.
Players are still able to ignore Trophies/Achievements if they don’t want to purchase the Premium Pass, but including one as a reward for completionists feels like a requirement to spend money.
