Ones to Watch will reportedly be one of the first Ultimate Team campaigns available when EA FC 27 launches. The Ones to Watch are players players will be able to slot straight into their squads when starting a new save file on Ultimate Team.
Unlike most Ultimate Team promotions, Ones to Watch cards won’t be rewarded from packs.
Instead, Ones to Watch cards will be unlocked by completing Objectives, SBCs, and the Season 1 Pass. As always, Ones to Watch players will have live upgrades that will improve their cards as they perform for their team throughout the season.
EA FC 27 Ones to Watch Release Date
Ones to Watch cards should be available once EA FC 27 launches on September 18, 2026.
Unlike standard Friday promos, Ones to Watch cards will primarily be earned through the Season Pass. Additional players can be earned through Objectives and SBCs. Expect almost all of the cards to stay available all throughout Season 1.

Ones to Watch players can apparently upgrade up to +4 Overall throughout EA FC 27. The upgrades and how to unlock them have been leaked as following:
- Appear in a POTM: +1 Overall
- Appear in a TOTW: +1 Overall
- Earn Star Performer: +1 Overall
- Club earns three domestic league wins: +1 Overall
- Club earns six domestic league wins: +1 Overall
This means Ones to Watch players have the potential to be huge bargains as the season goes on.
