Bungie talked a bit about Trials of Osiris recently, stating that Destiny 2 players will get a lot to try out both this and the next weekend.
Trials of Osiris going from April 1 to 5, 2022, will feature double reputation, allowing players to grab a bunch of PvP gear that would take much longer otherwise.
During the same weekend, Trials Labs will be active and the Capture Zone modifier will be applied. Therefore, it might be a good idea to brush up on your corner clearing tactics rather than peeking and coordinated position holding. After all, when the timer is out, both teams will need to rush to the zone before the others do.
On April 8, 2022, a new Labs variation will happen. Trials: Freelance will once again be active, allowing pretty much anyone to jump in and avoid being hindered for not having a well-oiled machine masquerading as a premade team.
Still, keep in mind that Power advantages are enabled here so max out your gear before jumping in, unless you fancy going up against railguns with nothing but a peashooter.
Until then, make sure to do all the activities that award Powerful gear first and then Pinnacles later, in order to maximise your Power growth. Furthermore, Powerful gear will have no benefits when you reach the cap of 1550 Power.
At that point, only Pinnacle activities will push you further.
