Bungie revealed some of the upcoming content from Destiny 2: Beyond Light as new playlist armour will be available along with a totally-not-old sniper rifle.
Guardians who are looking to gear up with new digs can now have a first look at what is expecting them in Beyond Light . The three armour sets above are the playlist armours that will be available to everyone.
Just like the name suggests, these sets will be obtained through playlist participation, be it Strikes, Gambit or Crucible. The armour features a new set of geometry which will be shared between the activities while decals and shaders will be what separates them.
New sets like these will be created each year from now on and they will arrive with new expansions. This may seem a bit odd or even barren for some Guardians since it sounds like just one set per class each year but keep in mind that there are ornaments to be had so your fashion will not be stale for 365 days per se.
Weekly challenges will be added for these armour pieces to offer variations with higher stat rolls.
Pursuit weapons will be returning with Beyond Light. In case you're not familiar with the term, it basically means these weapons have static rolls but they have more than one perk in each column so there is room for customisation. Felwinter's Lie or weapons featured in Umbral Engrams are pretty much the same thing.
The weapon that Bungie showcased is a mysterious sniper rifle that looks almost exactly the same as Beloved when Unloved, to be Cherished ornament is applied to it. Its shader pattern will depend on the activity you obtained it through.
