Those who pre-order a digital copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will get early access to the open beta test, which will be available on PlayStation 4 on October 8, 2020.
Just like previous games in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will also have both closed and open beta test before its launch. Today, we have a leak which reveals the start date of the open beta for PlayStation 4 players.
As you can see in the leaked image below, early access to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War open beta will be available to those who decide to pre-order the digital version of the game. Just like Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War will also host beta test on PlayStation 4 first with Xbox One and PC platforms following a couple of days later.
According to the official description on the Arabic in-game store, the beta will kick off on Thursday, October 8, 2020, on PlayStation 4. That may not be as close as some players would want but keep in mind that this is the open beta test, meaning that a closed beta could happen sometime next month. Expect it on PlayStation 4 first, though.
