Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will feature singleplayer campaign, multiplayer and zombies mode, it is revealed in the official description that prematurely leaked.
It's almost time for the reveal of next Call of Duty game which is officially titled Black Ops Cold War. And while we wait for the reveal, some new information have leaked via the official description, which has appeared online a bit earlier than expected.
The leak revealed three Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War editions including the Ultimate Edition and Cross-Gen one along with the official description for the former. Here are the most interesting bits from the description:
-
The iconic Black Ops series is back with Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War - the direct sequel to the original and fan-favorite Call of Duty®: Black Ops. Black Ops Cold War will drop fans into the depths of the Cold War’s volatile geopolitical battle of the early 1980s.
- Nothing is ever as it seems in a gripping single-player Campaign, where players will come face-to-face with historical figures and hard truths, as they battle around the globe through iconic locales like East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey, Soviet KGB headquarters and more.
- Beyond the Campaign, players will bring a Cold War arsenal of weapons and equipment into the next generation of Multiplayer and Zombies experiences.
As you can see, Activision will not offer free upgrade for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Instead, players will have to buy the cross-gen edition, which will probably be around $70, to get the next-gen version for their respective console.
However, the good news is the return of the megapopular Zombies mode. At the moment, the details are pretty scarce but we expect to hear more about it in the near future.
