Today, Treyarch have officially announced that their Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Zombies is getting a brand new map on February 14, 2021. The map will be free for all players.

The next chapter in the Dark Aether story is coming sooner than you may think. While everyone expected to get the next bit of story in the Season Two of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch have decided to release it a bit earlier.

Today, the developer announced their big surprise for Zombies fans named Firebase Z, which is a brand new map for the Zombies mode. The map will be coming during Season One on February 4, 2021, and it will be free for all players.

"With the destruction of the WWII-era “Projekt Endstation” site after investigating the otherworldly Dark Aether anomaly in Poland, Requiem now sets its focus on the latest Dark Aether outbreak site: Outpost 25, known by the code name “Firebase Z," it's written in the official announcement.

Treyarch promise a lot more info about the new map in the coming weeks so make sure you follow the devs on Twitter if you cannot wait to hear and see more of the new Firebase Z map. The first details will be coming tomorrow, January 15, 2021.

Last but not least, the team reminds players of today's launch of Zombies Free Access Week, the new Cranked mode, Onslaught Raid, and support for the new Wakizashi sword in Zombies.
