With 14 days left until Borderlands 3's upcoming expansion Bounty of Blood, Gearbox posted a 15-minute gameplay video showing off vehicle combat, new locations and more.
Bounty of Blood is the third paid campaign add-on for Borderlands 3 and it launches on June 25, 2020.
Until then, the gameplay demo will have to do, and there's plenty to see. No need to worry about spoilers or anything, as Gearbox made sure to remove anything that may spoil the storyline or the overall experience.
Anyway, Bounty of Blood will be taking Borderlands 3 players to Gehenna, "a frontier planet where the Devil Riders gang is rolling into the small town of Vestige." Residents could use some help, of course, and so the tale begins.
It kicks off with some vehicular combat on the new JetBeast hoverbike, which really soothes yours truly's nerves - I thought that getting serious only when you're close to dying was my trademark. Oh well, guess I'm not alone then - procrastinators, unite!
You'll catch a glimpse of Ashfall Peaks along the way, and Bounty of Blood clearly isn't lacking in eye candy. You can check out the snowy location on the image above, or at around 2:50 in the trailer, after which the demo quickly goes into all-out combat - just the way we like it.
Bounty of Blood also features a narrator, which we thought is a lovely touch, but that may depend on your personal preference.
Bounty of Blood brings new characters like pistol and katana specialist Rose and brawler Juno, as well as four new interactive objects. One of them is Traitorweed, which as the name suggests turns enemies into allies when shot. Another one is Breezebloom, which you can also see in the gameplay demo - it's the jump pad plant.
