If you're the one to be stricken with the news of Vault Insider Program being retired, then here's some good news to balance you out. Namely, Gearbox announced that Borderlands 3's next campaign add-on will be revealed at PAX East.
"Even with everything we shared in the recent Community Love Letter, we’ve still got plenty more Borderlands 3 surprises in store, and there are some big Borderlands 3 reveals planned for PAX East. You won't want to miss a thing from the Gearbox Main Theater Show happening from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM Eastern on Thursday, February 27", the dev wrote.
Naturally, you can expect the show to be streamed on the official Borderlands Twitch channel, although if you prefer Mixer or YouTube, that will work as well.
As for the Borderlands 3 campaign add-on, we're talking about a paid add-on that will follow Moxxi's Heist of The Handsome Jackpot. Gearbox said that it will be "featuring… well, that would ruin the suspense."
Additionally, fans who take part in Borderlands 3's PAX East showing, whether live or streaming, will get a chance to learn more about the game's plans for 2020. Gearbox specifically used the term "mayhem-laden plans", so fans probably want to catch this one.
This includes "glimpses of major free content additions to come" in 2020 and presumably beyond, as Borderlands 3 is clearly not going anywhere anytime soon.
If you're a member of Borderlands 3's Vault Insider Program, you should know that Gearbox will be retiring it soon . The service shuts down on 18 May 2020, at 11:59pm PDT, and all the VIP profiles and points are no longer, although you can earn and spend them until then.
