Baldur's Gate 3 will easily take more than 100 hours of your life to get through it, unless you are a talented speedrunner.
Upon finding a certain shortcut, the person going by Mae on YouTube managed to finish the game in just 10 minutes, a record that has since been shortened to 8:58 by the same runner.
The run is basically a lightning-in-a-bottle type of situation as it requires correct spells, the ability to get a secret ending and a shortcut that was previously unknown to the world.
Gale was the answer for all the conundrums here. He has access to Enhance Leap, Misty Step, Featherfall and even Sanctuary, which made the traversal as fast and safe as possible.
He also has the unique ability to get the secret ending by finishing the game in Act 2, by basically nuking all the baddies in a single blow.
This was not enough for Mae, as the speed runner took another challenge almost immediately. This time around, the character didn't need to be Gale as a custom spell caster worked just fine.
With the similar leap and misty step shenanigans, the run resulted in getting sex after just seven minutes and 54 seconds. Lae'Zel turned out to be the horniest candidate, which is a bit ironic, given Wyll's appearance.
