One of the most underdeveloped companions in Baldur's Gate 3 is getting a bit of love with the latest patch.

Minthara is one of the most intricate characters in Baldur's Gate 3 but sadly, most players don't actually experience her companionship since it hinges upon them committing an atrocious act of eradication.

Those who did it all to get a few interactions with the Paladin were soon disappointed because she was not in a completed state.

With the patch from September 5, 2023, Larian aimed at fixing some of her interactions, including romance with the character.

One of the biggest issues was that you could initiate a romantic relationship with her but it would then break during Act 3 and you would have done it all for nothing. The patch fixed this issue and if Minthara has a high approval of the main character, she will now properly continue romance and reveal more of her backstory.

On top of that, some previously unavailable dialogue and voice lines should now be available.

Other companions in the party should now properly comment on the player's relationship with Minthara although we suspect not many will have positive things to say. After all, Minthara doesn't regard many of them favourably either.

The update also had more traditional fixes for both PC and PlayStation 5.
