Mundfish released another interesting trailer for their upcoming action game, Atomic Heart, but we are still waiting for any info about the potential release date or at least release window.
Atomic Heart has another beautiful and zany trailer under its belt now but there is still no talk of release date or any hints about it. Considering that the first trailer was shown just over three years ago, one has to start wondering if the development was restarted or if there are other unforeseen issues, besides the Coronavirus pandemic.
Anyway, the new trailer did have more info in the description, offering another glimpse of the setting. The game is happening in an alternate 1955 where the internet, holograms and robots have already been invented. A manufacturing facility has ceased communication and the USSR government sends their agent, called P-3, to check out what is going on.
While the new trailer is going back to the artistic presentation of the first, it features significantly more gameplay snippets and you can glimpse numerous enemies that weren't shown before as well as living human characters that are apparently not hostile.
It remains to be seen how this game will turn out in the future but it is definitely shaping up to become a great alternative to BioShock series. Then again, we also need to see just how long the wait will be for the release.
