Age of Empires IV's Anniversary will run from October 25 until November 28 with special new rewards and challenges for all players.
Age of Empires IV developer World's Edge have shared new details about the game's upcoming Anniversary event. This Xbox -published strategy will soon allow players to win special new rewards and complete challenges that are part of the 25th year of the Age of Empires celebration.
World's Edge confirm that the event kicks off later this month and will run for a full week. Players can even win new stuff by simply logging in to the game, so it's definitely worth revisiting the game if you want to win some cool in-game profile icons and sigils.

Players who log in during the event will receive:
- Profile Icon Unlock – a capybara presenting you with a birthday cake
- Profile Icon Unlock – a Chibi Wololo Priest
- Profile Icon Unlock – a coin to commemorate the 25th Age-adversary
New challenges:
- Fishing since 1997 - Gather 1997 Fish as a Food Source in a Skirmish or Multiplayer match. Unlocks a cartoony overly muscular boar sigil.
- Reduced Pop Cap - Win a Multiplayer or Skirmish match by never exceeding a population of 50. Unlocks a Photon Man sigil.
- Room for More - Load 16 Elephant units into a Transport Ship. Unlocks a sigil depicting a bunch of elephants crammed into a boat.
- Paris Burning - Destroy 5 buildings with a French Warship. Unlocks a profile portrait of Elizabet Ramsey.
- This is Fine Win a Multiplayer or Skirmish match without repairing any structures with Villagers. Unlocks a profile portrait of a villager smiling with fire in the background.
- Victory: Ottomans - Win a Skirmish or Multiplayer match as the Ottomans. Unlocks a Craig Mullins Ottoman artwork profile portrait.
