The Horus Heresy: Legions release date reveal

Everguild have announced that The Horus Heresy: Legions is coming to iOS and Android systems on 26 July 2018. This will be one of the first video games to even remotely feature Warhammer 40K's Primarchs and there will be more than one.

So what's cracking down at Lonely Lodge? Well, reality apparently, as a rift similar to the one that appeared on Fortnite's sky seems to be cracking open on a Lonely Lodge bungalow. Season 5 draws closer and Epic are up to something. Again.

Fortnite's Playground mode is still on hold

Epic Games have released the Playgrounds limited time mode along with update 4.5 on 27 June 2018, but removed it shortly afterwards due to issues preventing players from launching the mode. The devs have been trying to fix this ever since.

Beamdog have released 2.5 update notes for Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. This re-release of a beloved classic was well received but still had a ton of issues and over 500 of them were fixed in this patch, on top of added features.

Fortnite's upcoming cosmetics data mined

Proving once and for all that earth-bending is the best bending, brave data miners dug into Fortnite's patch v4.5.0 and uncovered a bunch of delicious cosmetics coming to Epic's addiction royale, with some 'Murica flavoured skins as well.

Warner apalled at Bethesda's lawsuit

It appears that both of the Warner Bros are appalled at Bethesda's decision to sue them and Behaviour Interactive for blatantly ripping off their game Fallout Shelter in "their" new game Westworld, because they would never do such a thing.

Fortnite pulls Playground LTM, carts are back

Gotta love the internet, especially when they counter Epic's pulling of Fortnite's recently introduced Playground limited time mode with some puntastic replies, such as "5 more minutes" and "but mom". Also, shopping carts are back.

Fortnite update brings Dual Pistols & new LTM

Epic Games have rolled out a major update for their relentless money maker that is Fortnite. The update added new content for Save the World as well, but Battle Royale is in the spotlight, with the new Playground LTM and new Dual Pistols.

Pokemon Go is getting new research tasks

According to Niantic, the next batch of Pokemon Go's field research tasks and rewards is on the way. The new daily tasks which players can obtain at PokeStops are going to feature first generation Pokemon exclusive to the Kanto Region.

It's actually becoming interesting to witness an ongoing fight between Epic Games and data miners, who've mined most of Season 4's weekly challenges so far. For a moment there it seemed as if Epic had a handle on things. Guess not.

Epic Games have sued Thommas Hannah on 07 May 2018 for breaching NDA and spoiling Fortnite Season 3's finale among other things and Hannah filed defence against Epic Games' lawsuit on 25 June 2018. Both documents can be found below.

Bethesda sue Warner Bros over Westworld Game

Lawsuits are the new gaming apparently, as Bethesda decided to sue Warner Bros and Behaviour Interactive over copyright infringement, not a month after Bluehole did the same with Epic Games. Bethesda might have legal grounds though.

It appears that Epic is a bit concerned about the current state of Fortnite's endgame, announcing more changes to the game. The company says that dependence on shotguns, rockets and uncapped building isn't what Fornite is all about.

Epic Games seem to have finally stuck it to data miners, instead choosing to keep their Fortnite: Battle Royale cards as close to the chest as possible. And kept them they did but now it's time for Week 8 challenges for Battle Pass holders.

PUBG Corp have announced a battle pass system, in this case called event pass, which will launch along with Sanhok map on 22 June 2018. A day later, Bluehole also announced they will be compensating players wrongfully banned for cheating.

Epic Games have announced the 2018-2019 competitive season for Fortnite Battle Royale and briefly mentioned that the total number of registered players has seen a small growth of 125 million since the game's launch one year beforehand.
