Numerous players have reported that ranked parties have been disabled due to a new error preventing them from queuing with friends in ranked matches. This frustrating problem has led some players to take a break from the game or risk playing alone in a solo queue.

Upon queuing up in League, players are encountering a new error message stating, "Due to a live issue with Ranked Leagues, ranked parties are temporarily disabled. You can still queue solo." Despite this, players are unable to invite friends to a ranked lobby, though they can still queue for matchmaking individually.
What causes the ‘Ranked Leagues live issue’ in League of Legends?
The cause of the Ranked Leagues live issue in League of Legends remains unknown, but it is suspected to originate from the server side.
It is likely a networking error preventing matchmaking services from functioning properly when there are two or more people in a party.
Fortunately, this issue does not affect your ability to play the game solo; you can still queue for matches individually. However, the problem arises only when attempting to queue with friends.
How can you fix the ‘Ranked Leagues live issue’ in League of Legends?
You cannot fix the "Ranked Leagues live issue" on your own; instead, the developers must step in. While some players have suggested methods like swapping teams before queuing again, this workaround doesn't appear to be effective for everyone. The developers must ultimately address and resolve the issue.
As of now, Riot Games has not addressed this issue, and it appears to be affecting only a small number of players. But these players are still left waiting for a solution from Riot.
In the meantime, players can explore other game modes to enjoy with friends, such as League's returning Arena mode or the ever-popular ARAM mode.
