The Anima Squad debuts on Wednesday, July 17 in League of Legends. It also gives players the opportunity to purchase new Anima Squad skins, dive into the new Swarm mode, and immerse themselves in the battle against the relentless Primordians threatening Final City's survival.
According to Riot, Swarm promises a fresh cooperative experience unlike anything previously seen in the popular MOBA. Swarm transports players to the world of the Anima Squad skin line, immersing them in a narrative-rich environment where Final City, humanity's last stronghold, stands against the Primordians.
What is the Anima Squad?
As the Primordians threaten Earth's existence, humanity has assembled its elite defense force: the Anima Squad. Familiar champions from League of Legends stand ready alongside new skins for this summer event.
Joining the fray are new champions wielding unique powers to combat the relentless hordes of sea monsters. However, formidable new villains from the abyssal Primordian forces are also emerging, determined to eradicate humanity once and for all.
