Pride celebrations are set to unfold across all Riot games this year, spanning from the Riot Community Pride Hub (launching on May 31st) to in-game missions and Riot social channels. The festivities are so extensive that Riot had to split up the celebrations across a couple of articles, which will be released on May 31st.
Players can expect to celebrate Pride across all of Riot's games, starting from League of Legends and TFT to even Valorant and Wild Rift, on the 31st of May (Pacific Time).
Now, let's delve into the details for League of Legends and TFT, all coming with Patch 14.11.
Pride Celebrating in League of Legends
In League of Legends, Pride content debuts on the Rift with Patch 14.11 and remains available until the conclusion of Patch 14.12. This event introduces a new mission and Pride Emote called "United," featuring Twisted Fate and Neeko, along with the return of Pride emotes priced at 1 Blue Essence each—essentially free!
Until July 8th, Pride Player Icons will enhance your homeguard animation on Summoner’s Rift with colorful trails by equipping any of the corresponding Pengu Icons, available for 1 Blue Essence individually or in a bundle. Here's the list: Prismatic Pengu Icon, Cotton Candy Pengu Icon, Galactic Pengu Icon, Sunset Pengu Icon, Twilight Pengu Icon, Primary Pengu Icon, Sherbert Pengu Icon, Mint Pengu Icon.
Before transitioning to TFT, a quick mention about the Community Pride Hub launching on May 31st. This hub will serve as your one-stop destination for everything Pride-related, from fan art to cosplays—a perfect platform to showcase how everyone celebrates Pride.
Pride Celebrating in Teamfight Tactics
For Teamfight Tactics, the Pride event kicks off alongside League's on Patch 14.11 (May 30th in the afternoon PT) and runs until Patch 14.12 introduces another celebratory event. You'll have until June 11th, the day before 14.12 goes live, to claim all your TFT Pride goodies. Keep scrolling to discover what these goodies entail.
TFT's Event Hub will feature three new missions, making past Pride content available and introducing a new prideful emote to the collection.
Regarding Pride trails, historically activated by equipping Pride Icons, starting with Patch 14.11, the effect will trigger by equipping the respective Pride Booms. Notably, Pride trails remain active year-round!
With Emotes, Missions, Player Hubs, and Pride Trails, there are ample opportunities for you to celebrate Pride 2024 across our games. However you choose to celebrate, from all of us at Riot Games, have a fantastic Pride celebration.
