Kate is voiced and inspired by the Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley. This article contains the choices the players need to make in order for Kate, the hotshot main lead of the show, to successfully escape the Murder Castle.
Most scenes where Kate's life is in danger are those where she is trapped with another crewmate and her faith is in the hands of others. The first time Kate is in a deadly situation is when she is trapped in the suffocation chamber with Erin and Jamie and Mark have to make a choice.
Choosing to kill Kate will result in both Erin and Kate escaping the suffocation chamber due to Mark managing to break one of the windows. It is recommended on working towards rekindling Mark and Kate's relationship before this scene.
The next time Kate is at risk of dying is in the second trap room where the glass wall is getting closer to crushing Jamie and a choice has to be made.
If the players previously chose to give the screwdriver to Jamie, they should not press the button on the glass wall. If the screwdriver is with Kate, the players should press the button on the glass wall.
The Devil in Me
In order for Kate to avoid death on the rooftops, the players must land all of the skill checks and choose to save Jamie instead of fleeing but choosing to run instead of hiding whenever prompted will be better in this chapter.
When Kate and Jamie get to the log cabin, choosing to hide and choosing not to kill the dog will result in both her and Jamie surviving this location. From this point onward, the only thing the player has to do in order to keep Kate alive is successfully hit the skill checks.
