The simple answer is no, you cannot kill Grandpa in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, even with the bone scraps and any ability from the skill tree, Sumo Digital will not allow him to die. What you can do however is decrease his chances of leveling up by sneaking into the area where he is located and stabbing him.
Stabbing him will lower his level from whatever level he was at before being stabbed. One thing players should worry about is that when a victim is close enough to Grandpa and makes noise, the Grandpa will alert the killers and expose your location for as long as you are out in the open.
Stabbing him however will benefit the victims quite a bit, especially in the late game when the grandpa is either at his max level or is about to reach max level.
The way to do it is to sneak into the room where he is located and try to stay out of his sight for as long as possible, the ideal way to do this would be to sneak up on him from behind, similar to how you would sneak up on the killers to stun them.
Attacking Grandpa will also require bone scrap and without it, the attack will not be possible.
If the attack is successful, Grandpa will decrease in levels and then alert the family, so you will still have time to run. Stabbing him while he is asleep or at a low level will only alert the family as he does not have anything to go down to.
