At first, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre might seem like a very killer-sided game, where survival and escape chances are relatively slim. The main thing that the victims need to secure a victory and survival is orientation and understanding of their environment.
Knowing where you are, where you are headed and what you need to get there and how to get what you need is already greatly guaranteeing success.
Firstly, wasting time at the start due to the fear of being caught is the first mistake the victims make. At the very start, the victims are not in immediate danger so the very first few bars can be filled till the point of the killer being alerted.
Once the victim has left the East Cell, they should stay on the left-hand side of the basement and squeeze into the South Tunnel. There they should stay on the left side until they reach the workbench where they will scavenge for an unlock tool (again, respecting the alert bar is not necessary).
Now, Turn around and again stay on the left-hand side of the tunnel and leave through the first opening, there should be a door. Once the door had been unlocked, the victim will be able to see the ladder leading into the garage.
Once the ladder has been climbed, there will be a blocked crawlspace that can be opened. Once it has been opened there will be a fuze on the left-hand side, the player should collect it. Once it had been collected, the victim should make their way towards the holding pen and run through it towards the side closest to the fence.
Once the player squeezes through, they should keep the fence on their left-hand side and run along it. Eventually, they will come across the fuze box where the fuze has to be inserted. Once it had been inserted, the victims had to run back to the holding pen and make their way into the basement.
Once in the basement, the players should squeeze through the crack and head left into the exit.
