Here's how to get special abilities in Starfield

Starfield does have some pretty amazing superpowers that give combat even more depth and fun. In this guide, we'll explain how to find and use these powers.

In addition to various "hard science" guns, rifles and melee weapons, and some laser tools of destruction, Starfield will also offer you powerful space magic, that brings a whole new level to the game's combat.

Space magic in Starfield is simply called Powers and there are many powerful abilities that you can discover across the universe. It may take a while before you get your first one but worry not, these are not hard to find as most of them are tied to quests.

So, if you're looking to learn more about special powers in Starfield, read below for a full explanation of how to find Powers in this Bethesda RPG.

The anti-gravity field, which allows you to create a small anti-gravity field that makes enemies float in the air, is the first power you'll get in Starfield. To get this power, you'll have to play the main quest called Into the Unknown.

After you find the first three artefacts and meet Vladimir, he'll send you on a mission to check mysterious anomalies, which he believes could be artefacts. However, once you find the first anomaly, you'll discover that these are actually temples that hold special powers.

Once you get your hands on the power, you can use it by pressing both RB and LB buttons together. Before that, you'll have to assign the power in your Powers menu.

As you progress through the story, you'll find many Powerful abilities, which is one of the reasons why Bethesda recommend playing the main quest. There are well over ten powers in the game but sadly, the locations of the temples are randomised so we can't really help you find these. That's up to you, explorer.
