Like all the previous Resident Evil games, the newest instalment in this franchise from Capcom, Resident Evil: Requiem, features many intricate puzzles to solve and zombies to kill, and as always, those puzzles are usually very well crafted.
Once Grace meets with Leon for the first time, she will be left alone once again and forced to survive on her own, and this adventure will bring her to some interesting puzzles, with one of them being inside the Chairman's Office on the second floor of the Care Centre, infested by zombies.
This puzzle includes some sort of a cabinet with a four-symbol dial. If this puzzle is giving you a headache, here is how to solve it without too much trouble.
The Moon Dial Puzzle Location
Once you obtain a gun and manage to go upstairs, keep heading to the right of a singing lady zombie, and you'll find yourself inside the Chairman's Office. The dial cabinet is located to the right of the door, and if you interact with it, you'll see that there is a four-symbol combination that can be entered using three symbols: the moon, the sun, and the star.
The Puzzle Solution
If you check out the table in front of the cabinet, you'll see a notebook you can interact with, and if you do, you'll be given the option to choose an item from your inventory to do it. If you enter the room next door, you'll see a zombie eating a body behind the desk. You can kill this zombie if you prefer, or leave it alone. In any case, there is a pencil on the table that you must pick up.
Take the pencil and return to the notebook on the table. Interact with it and choose the pencil from the inventory. Now, shade the sheet using the pencil, and it will reveal the combination written on the paper. It is Moon, Sun, Star, Moon. Enter this combination inside the dial, and the cabinet will open, revealing the Moon Quartz item.
