Resident Evil Requiem is the newest instalment in this highly popular survival horror series from Capcom, and apart from the return of its significant action and horror segments, the game brings back its significant puzzles as well.
Once you reach the Raccoon City police station and make acquaintances with some old friends, you'll be able to explore the place for a bit, solving some very interesting puzzles and discovering several easter eggs and some quite useful rewards.
One quite interesting puzzle awaits you inside the S.T.A.R.S. office, where you'll come across a suitcase locked by the three-letter combination. If you don't know how to solve this one, here is the solution.
How to Get to the S.T.A.R.S. Office
The S.T.A.R.S. office is located on the second floor of the Raccoon City police station, and you'll be able to reach it via a deployable ladder inside the reception.
Take the second door to the right of the typewriter inside the Main Hall, and you'll see a ladder wrapped with the yellow tape. A well-placed shot will release the ladder, and you'll be able to reach the second floor from there. This will be required to be done as part of the story mission, so it is quite unmissable, to be precise.
How to Open the Suitcase
The suitcase is located inside the backroom in the S.T.A.R.S. office, inside the open locker. If you try to open it, you'll see that it is locked with the three-letter combination.
The first clue to find the correct combination is located inside the document, just outside the backroom with the suitcase. As you exit the backroom, look on the desk next to the monitor, and you'll see Barry's to-do list document. Inside the document, it is said that finding a missing library book is some sort of top priority.
The missing library book is located, well, inside the library, obviously. Exit the S.T.A.R.S. office and go down the hallway to reach the library through the last door on the left. Once inside the library, go upstairs and over the catwalk. The book is located on the shelf to the right of the door once you pass over the catwalk.
Take the book and open it by finding the examination point. Inside the book, you'll see a picture, and on the back of this picture, the inscription: Rising, Rookie, Rebecca, which means the correct combination for the suitcase is three capital letters of each word – RRR.
Go back to the S.T.A.R.S. office and enter those letters. Inside the suitcase, you'll find the Power Shader Charm for Requiem, which offers limitless bullet penetration and increases the firepower of the last bullet in the cylinder.
