An especially perilous zone within the game is the Pilgrim's Perch Descent, where even the smallest error can result in your character plunging into the abyss. To traverse this area, you must navigate through the merging realms of Axiom and Umbral.
Towards the conclusion of this region, you'll encounter a door shielded by three Umbral entities. If you find yourself unable to decipher this minor puzzle, rest assured that this guide offers a solution.
How to solve Pilgrim's Perch Descent Umbral entities puzzle
The most effective strategy for tackling this puzzle is to enter the area within the Axiom world. Since you're already contending with four formidable enemies on the platform where the passage is located, the last thing you need is the addition of more mobs from the Umbral realm.
Once you've eliminated the enemies in the Axiom world, transition into Umbral, which will significantly simplify the task. Begin by addressing the first two Umbral entities. The first entity is positioned directly above the passage; simply look up, lock onto it, and execute a soulflay attack. As for the second entity, it's located to the left of the entrance, near a small beam that can only be reached in Umbral. Dispatch one of the mobs, and then shift your attention slightly to the left to spot the second entity.
As for the third Umbral entity, it's positioned on a platform beneath the entrance, and reaching it is also exclusive to the Umbral world. To access this platform, you'll need to traverse the bone-like structures. This area will witness the appearance of numerous mobs; our recommendation is to eliminate them since they pose little challenge and yield a substantial amount of Vigor, which is essential for upgrades.
After clearing the mobs, release the final entity and then backtrack to the entrance. Execute the soulflay attack and proceed through the passage. Not far from there, you'll find the new Vestige, allowing you to safely return to the Axiom world.
