Melina is a key NPC in Elden Ring that helps you level up and introduces you to the hub area Roundtable Hold.
One of the first NPCs in Elden Ring that you'll meet as soon as you set foot on the starting area of Limgrave will notify you of a location called Roundtable Hold, which is basically Elden Ring's Firelink Shrine-like hub location.
Unfortunately, the game does not tell you how to get to Roundtable Hold, you have to figure that out on your own.
To get there, first, you need to meet Melina, an NPC similar to Firekeeper in Dark Souls, that will help you level up and on top of this invite you to Roundtable Hold.
Where to find Melina in Elden Ring?
Melina can be found at a Site of Grace near the Gatefront Ruins in the North side of Limgrave. Once you grace the site, you will activate a cutscene that introduces Melina to the player.
Melina will then give Torrent to the player, a trusty steed that players will be using to traverse the Lands Between. Additionally, she'll introduce you to the Roundtable Hold.
