Xbox has updated its Free Play Days schedule, rotating in a handful of new games for players to enjoy for free. Ranging from strategy and sports games to fighters and multiplayer shooters, there's quite a bit of diversity with this newest batch.
All of these games are playable for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential subscribers, but one is free for everyone. As is typical with Free Play Days, your progress will remain should you purchase the game down the line.
Each of these titles are also discounted should you choose to keep playing after the free period expires.
Games Available This Weekend
This week Free Play Days will include Railway Empire 2 and NBA Bounce from April 30th through May 3rd. Railway Empire 2 puts players in charge of developing their railroads across expansive territories, NBA Bounce provides arcade basketball action with short games and easy-to-use mechanics.
Predator: Hunting Grounds has one extra day of play this week as it is free from April 28th through May 4th. The game pits one player against others as the Predator while everyone else makes up the Fireteam and races to finish objectives.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is the only game you need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to play this week, but is available for everyone (with or without Game Pass) from April 30th through May 3rd. Due to its availability to all players, Dragon Ball FighterZ is the easiest game to access this Free Play Days.
Discounts and Access Details
You can find each title on sale for a limited time this week. Most of these titles will see significant price drops during Free Play Days. Price changes will be different depending on your region but should coincide with the days mentioned above.
Each title can be found by heading to the Xbox Store and clicking on Free Play Days or by finding each title’s page directly. Once you’ve downloaded the games, you can play them until the free period is over.
This was a pretty good group of games for Free Play Days. There’s something here for everyone from a fighting game to pick-up basketball and a title that’ll have you focusing on building and strategies.
