Wargaming kicked off an odd crossover in World of Warships: Legends as our Earthly ships will be facing off with the likes of Autobots and Decepticons.
World of Warships has already done the kooky thing and held a Transformers crossover and now it's time for Legends to have one of its own. The latest update added Autobots and Decepticons, partially as a celebration of the 35th anniversary for the iconic animated film, which mostly serves as a treasure trove of memes these days.
Four characters from the iconic series will join the warships in the game as they will duke it out from September 6 onwards. Hot Rod, Grimlock, Starscream and Soundwave will join the battle on the open seas. Unfortunately, there is no trace of the big boys Megatron and Optimus Prime but you have to admit it would be weird to see a tank or an 18-wheeler trying to fight with the warships.
Besides the high fiction of transforming robots, WoWS: Legends will also get more real-life ships. Soobrazitelny, Boevoi and Kiev are all Soviet destroyers that will expand the Red Navy. Unfortunately, they are bound to the loot boxes so you will either need a ton of luck or a ton of money if you're looking to secure them.
