Blizzard announced that World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is fairly close to release and we are in fact just a month away from it.
Shadowlands will release on November 23, 2020, for the Americas, at 3:00 PM PT. Europe will get the expansion on November 24, 2020, at 12:00 AM CET.
Considering Blizzard originally intended to release the game in October but had to delay it, the new release date is not that far off and those who were preparing for the original release will likely be happy with the new date.
Furthermore, the hype for the expansion seems to be extremely high since Activision Blizzard reported that the preorders are higher for Shadowlands than any other expansion in the game's history.
This is especially impressive because Battle for Azeroth did not really impress the player base that much and will certainly not be counted among the elite like TBC or WotLK.
After Sylvannas literally broke the sky, we will get to venture into the land where the dead usually go while Blizzard will delve into the territory with lore that goes beyond the foundations the RTS games laid out. It's a historic moment for World of Warcraft, even though people are more focused on the new gear, mounts and such and it remains to be seen whether the expansion will turn out to be a good one.
